Country Gardens Bed & Breakfast needed a new site to showcase the events held at Country Gardens. Abacus Software designed a site that focused on the visual aspect of Country Gardens and the beautiful visuals it offers.Search Engines
Search Engines have become the golden goose of the internet. Get listed in the top 10, and reap the benefits. Lost in the thousands of pages and your site will wallow in mediocrity. Search engine specialists now use that mantra to tell clients that placement of internet sites into the top 10 is attainable with methods not known to the average person. Keep the following facts in mind: Fact: Only 10 "objective" listings can appear in the top 10 of a Google result. Fact: If search engine results were not objective, then their effectiveness would be lost. Fact: Google does not divulge their criteria for ranking web sites.Sure there are known methods that will improve your ranking. But the search engine industry is using the same methods and information. That makes differentiating sites very difficult, and as they strive to become more visible to the search engines they become very similar to each other because everyone is using the same techniques.
I was in a sales call a year ago. The company was in the mortgage business. They did not yet have a web site, and it was 2007. They gave a wish list of what they wanted to achieve with their new web site. At the top of the list it stated "#1 ranking on all the search engines." I promptly walked away.
